Emic (Eoin McGinn) is an Irish Street Artist living and working in Belfast, at LOFT studio. Having grown up in a very rural area of Northern Ireland, he then moved to the city in the late 00’s to study Art at University. Since graduating he has been painting and pasting full time, exploring themes of urbanism and entropy.

The Urban Artist works on canvas as well as directly onto exterior surfaces such as shutters and doorways. He installs work on paper and paints large scale murals in run down areas of the urban environment. The work is constantly evolving as the Artist fuses interests in abstraction, architecture, figurative form and graphic art to create his own unique style.
